Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July

This month we are going to be doing something really special for Plastic Free July!

Plastic Free July is a challenge that is about choosing to refuse single-use plastic. The aim is to raise awareness of the problems with disposable plastic and challenge people to do something about it. We will be joining millions of people across the world in making a difference.

So if you live locally in the Byron Bay hinterland you can come along to the Tortilleria during our open hours and purchase freshly baked tortillas straight out of the oven in your favourite tea towel. And if you are fancying some totopos then bring a large jar along too.

This is only valid for the month of July as we don’t usually open up the tortilleria to the public. But we would love to meet you if you want to stop by and say hello.

Tortilleria Open:

Thursday 5th July – 12-2pm
Monday 9th July – 12-2pm
Thursday 19th July – 12-2pm
Monday 23rd July – 12-2pm

DIRECTIONS TO THE TORTILLERIA: 33 The Broadway, Burringbar NSW 2483.  You will find us behind the beautiful blue building in the main street of Burringbar, just go down the laneway and look to your left and we are tucked in the behind here.

And in regards to our packaging – we are currently working on changing it to be fully compostable. We are hoping to roll these changes out by the end of the year.
